Day 13 – Basics of Dehydrating

    Please don’t use tomatoes, green or any color peppers, or eggplants. They were no longer part of what Dr. Wigmore recommended, because of the nightshade problem causing inflammatory disease. This picture was taken a long time ago.

    When things are dehydrated, one needs to drink at least 7 times more water to make up for the lack of water in the dehydrated foods. We know that sometimes, it is necessary, as when on trips to have things to carry, but with planning, whole foods can be carried with you, even when you are on a bike (witness the Boutenko family’s trip across the U.S.)
