I cannot log in, I have tried all my passwords, none work; it says there is no email registered under barbaralowell@att.net but when I try to register as a new member it says that email is already registered so I cannot sign up again OR sign in???
I am reg for the detox starting tomorrow and was trying to read the chats. When I open up the site the comment section already has my user name in the comment along with my email but I cannot log in, it is not recognized. What to do?

    Hello!

I live in Alaska, where watermelon is hard to come by… I did find one very pale sickly looking one (cut in half), for $1.50/pound… Is there anything that I can substitute for the watermelon? Or is it important enough to bite the bullet for a sour one?

    Thanks ever so!

Logging in is for paying members, Barbaral. You don’t need an account and you don’t need to log in to do the 21 day detox program.

I will be going to the store in the morning to get the listed items (greens). I was wondering how much I should be getting at a time as I do not want to buy too much or too small an amount and have to keep running back, or have it spoil.

I was also wondering if there was anyway you could send a schedule ahead of time so that we can prepare for the next day ahead etc or have an idea what is expected so I can plan around it. For example tomorrow is the start of the program, could you send us the information this evening so we can plan for tomorrow, instead of waiting until tomorrow to find out what needs to be done, so instead of 6am, could you please send out at 6pm the night before?

I go to the market twice week, Donna. Since I only have to shop the produce department, I’m in and out in a few minutes.

It’s 2pm 1st March where I live (in New Zealand) and I still don’t know what I’m supposed to eat & not eat on this detox diet!! Is anyone else as confused as me? PLEASE Can we just have a simple, clear food plan of what to eat and what to avoid, without having to read lots of books, which I don’t have time for at present!? Thankyou for your good work in promoting health, but I’m a little frustrated with all the daily emails & links I don’t haver time to persue!

To access organic foods I must drive a substantial distance and spend a good $4.00 on gas alone for each trip driving an “ify” vehicle. Shopping once a week, let alone twice a week sadly is not an option. I too would be helped substantially by an overview of the weeks and with some idea of quantity of foods.
It would be preferable to keep pace with the group but if need be I could always lag behind and still gain support in our journey.
Thank you Jim and Flora so much for this guided opportunity.

I have to agree with everyone above..It is very frustrating not having more AHEAD of time…
I hope it will all make sense by tomorrow ….it hasn’t started and I am already feeling like abandoning ship.
My personal feedback is that there are too many emails with too many links to read…Just the Key ones would be good but there are too many with extraneous hype and obvious purpose of “advertising” to get us to buy the Home study program is off putting.

I anticipate 1 problem with going raw and I hope for some suggestions

MY TEETH:I have only 3 teeth at the top and they are root canelled, crowned and bridged – the rest are partial plates

I have 12 teeth on the bottom all but 2 are root canelled and crowned.

Right now they are inflamed and one is ready to fall off. It hurts when I eat raw vegetable. They hurt so bad tears come to my eyes when I chew hard food and won’t settle down until a couple hours afterwords. I eat too much fruit and this raise my blood sugar too high and must learn to eat less fruit – like I must bring it down from 70% fruit down to 30 or 35% for now. When I stop eating fruits and vegetable I eat cooked veg soups and bread – which make matters worth

Can you make suggestions as to how I can bridge this gap and become a raw vegan

I hope I phrased it enough so that you can answer – if you can’t say something anyways

You must be on some other list, Perle. There is no advertising with this program. Be patient, it will make sense over time; it’s a lifestyle change, not just a diet.

Cafeteria trays are not required. Just any shallow box/container/whatever for sprouting. Any box/tray at all will do.

We have the solution for your problem. There is no hard food in our program. Everything is blended.

When you learn more about the root canals and the disease that is growing underneath them in what is called cavitations (not cavities, which are in the teeth; cavitations are in the bone sockets of your jaw and tooth roots), and read about Hal Huggins and how he has changed dentistry and the realization about how dangerous root canals are and other things like mercury, you will be willing to have them all taken out so you won’t suffer.

This poison is affecting your heart, dear. When you only use apples to blend with the baby greens, weeds, soaked flax seed or plants, etc., you are not going to get a permanent spike in your blood sugar and the wheat grass juice will heal your infection, as long as you do not put stuff in your body that is not on the program that will cause infection, like dairy and grain and eggs.

This is supposed to stress you less and it seems it is stressing you more! This is all free and if there are any links telling you to buy something, ignore it.

Dr. Carey is trying to get all of this off the site because he knows that anything that I do concerning the Wigmore program has to be absolutely free. If you start a week late, no big deal. But, I encourage you to just stick with the basics. You only need to read the daily menus and schedule.

The other things to read are just for the people who want to read about what other MDs have done with a plant based diet: cure diabetes, cure heart disease, cure cancer. Many people want proof before they start. You sound like you just want someone to tell you what to do and when your body heals itself, you will be one of the one’s shouting the proof! Just focus on the program and forget the links, unless it clarifies something that is in the program. This is to detox your mind, as well as your body! Thanks for sharing.

I too would like to have the big picture of how much to use, but there is only one of me and I go to the store every day going home from work. Would you please buy in bulk and if you have good refrigeration, let us know so we can help others in determining how much stays good for how long.

The apples are no problem, it’s just the greens that might be a problem. I cut the ends off mine and put them in a glass of water in the fridge and change the water daily and they last a long time as I clip the parsley or cilantro, take a couple of three stems of kale, and then I have a garden with lambsquarter and purslane and go wildcrafting for spring dandelion, so help us help the others who need to know more about the amount, ok?

This is an international community effort! I’ve heard from people who are meeting together in church halls and neighborhood centers to make the energy soup together and have a good time making the sauerkraut. This is a time of sharing.

I was with my good friend Paul Nison this Saturday at the monthly Earth Save pot luck listening to a great lecture of his and he has written a book about the importance of not eating after it gets dark.

A great lady who started a cosmetic company (Revlon I believe, but I’m not sure) didn’t eat until very late after work and that was the cause of her early death. He asked us not to eat after 6 if possible, or to drink water either after that time.

He wanted us to eat 2 meals, one for breakfast and the other in the late afternoon. We will develop into that type of thing after awhile, but now, it’s important to get this good food into your body as often as you need it in the day time, not just twice, so that your body can heal, just don’t store it.

Eat it and then make fresh each time.

I am the victim of a mugging years ago, and because of the thief falling on top of me and as he was still grabbing my purse strap trying to break it, his elbow came up and broke my jaw.

Because of many operations later, I only have 2 teeth left in my head.

They are as healthy as they can be. It has been sad to watch my healthy teeth being taken out of my jaw, because I believe like the orientals that each one was precious and was helping to give my dentist signals about what was going on inside my body, but here I am, a happy raw fooders, eating nothing but raw/living foods in blended and juiced forms, and I’m perfectly healthy with healthy blood. And, I have beautiful false teeth.

    Dear Dr. Flora,

I am looking very much forward to the detox program!

Thank you for your time and effort with this.

I live in Quito, Ecuador, and there are several items which I can not find here.

Are there substitues for the following items???

Dehydrator – can I use the sun instead?
Dulse leaf – can I substitute for any dried seaweed?
Kale – any suggestions as an alternative vegetable?
Figs – are these fresh or dried? I am not sure I can buy dried figs here, and the fresh ones are small and hard… which are normally then cooked…
    Thank you for your help!

    With kindest regards,

    Viviana and William
